Mathilde nodded at my request before she spoke, "While your ideas and innovations in various schools of thought arguably come from your genius, the same could also be said for your indecision and lack of confidence."
I managed to hold back the shiver that ran through my spine as I Mathilde called me out. I knew that I had a habit of thinking myself into a feedback loop of paranoia, but to think that she actually thought it was my worst trait?
"Another side effect of it would be the numerous amounts of ideas that come to you in uncontrolled bouts of brilliance," Mathilde continued with a clinical tone. "Just earlier, your talk about this 'electricity' showed that your impulses are far too fast even for your own mind to perceive at times. If you had simply thought through your options, then perhaps you would have realized that inventing 'electricity' was far from your projected stage of development."
