What's my motivation?

Well, that's just obvious, right? So long as Lise was alive and kicking, then I'm damn hell sure that I won't just drop dead at the slightest inconvenience. Perhaps this really was the only driving force in my life right now. Self-preservation? An end-goal? Even a plausible dream kind of paled in comparison to my sister's safety. It wasn't really rocket science.

Then again, I've never been really good at complex calculations beyond what I learned through the hours of surfing through internet videos gave me. Perhaps if I really stressed my brain, I could probably wring some more calculations out of me, but why was I even thinking about such things right now?

Oh right... The mind-numbing task of climbing up this flight of stairs was doing a number on my calves.
