Patience. The unending virtue of the ultimate saint. As someone that was sorely lacking in this department, I had no right in lecturing anyone about this subject, let alone tell someone to just wait and let the chips fall down where they may lie when I, myself, had the patience of a fvcking firework. Granted, my patience would be considered pretty decent so long as it came to matters I didn't really give a shvt about, but if it came to the stuff that really mattered, I was pretty fvcking impatient to the point of leaving even my friends behind if it meant I get to finish faster.

Unfortunately, the same was pretty much the norm for anyone, especially for those that were barely past their teens.

Ignoring Jen's shouts about the awful smell permeating her stall, I waved a hand over my nose as I stared at the disaster that was my first attempt at a demi-glace sauce.
