Words full of condemnation came from the passersby as they watched Samuel run away as if a ghost was chasing him down. Liliana, Lucas and Alvin quietly witnessed the scene, saying nothing.

Exhaling a soft sigh, Alvin said to the committee members, "Check anything related to that guy. Do it discreetly. Now."

"Understand, CEO Xia."

Without objecting to his command or creating any excuses, the committee members agreed in a heartbeat. They apologized to Lucas and Liliana.

"Don't worry. It's not your fault," Liliana tried to ease the men's concerns, "But, thank you for giving this matter immediate attention."

After exchanging a few more words, the committee members hurriedly left the hallway. They might be having a meeting soon.
