Capítulo 209: What Had He Done To Deserve This?!

One of the bodyguards followed's Liliana's order. He took out the cloth that gagging Charlie Dai's mouth. He threw it away. The cloth fell on the floor.

"You wench! How... argh!"

The second he was freed, Charlie Dai began to struggle and shout again. The bulky men quickly slammed his face to the floor. One of them slapped Charlie Dai's face once he was yanked backward.

Liliana flinched seeing the harsh way the bodyguards treated Charlie Dai. She was not accustomed to this kind of brutality. But, she didn't move away from her seat.

Liliana quickly masked her shock and horror with an indifferent look. Her eyes were locked onto Charlie Dai's wrathful expression.

He was angry. He was so keen to counterattack but, unfortunately, he was rendered immobile by the two men.

The bodyguards' grips on Charlie Dai's shoulders and the back of his head were too strong. One of them even locked his hands together behind his back.
