''Thank you, Dahlia. Old Fred gave this to me as a gift. Though I always complain how hard he works too much, I can't say no to the presents he gives.''

''Well, no one can say no to presents,'' Isla chuckled as she carried a small pot of flower in front of the window, to the middle-aged woman, waiting near the table.

The middle-aged woman is the wife of Old Fred, Maria. She is a very lovely person and a close friend of Madam edith. She was one of the people Isla truly liked in the village.

''Is this the flower, madam?'' asked Isla, placing the small pot on the wooden countertop.

''Yes dear. Thank you very much. I also have to thank you for the lavender leaves you gave to Old Fred.'' said Maria with a wrinkled smile.
