Capítulo 37: Chapter 36 - Second Explosion
"Okay lads, line it up and go home if you're done," a small old lady wearing loose doctor's coat softly shouted as the candidates followed her words and fall into an orderly line.
Most of them knew who she was. After all, she is a famous figurehead of the U.A. high, allowing the school to conduct extreme examinations such as these.
Izuku was of course aware of her, courtesy of dork Izuku's memories, but was still intrigued to see her quirk in action.
Her healing quirk works by amplifying and speeding up a body's natural healing process. A normal body would heal a burn wound in a matter seconds after being smooched, and it made Izuku wonder how her quirk will affect his already monstrous regeneration.
Izuku was in the middle of the line with Ochaco on his back when the tense guy who Izuku learned to be Ida, spoke up, "Excuse me, would everyone be so kind as to let Izuku-kun and Ochaco-san receive immediate treatment. They–,"
"Dude, relax…" Izuku looked at Ida dumbfoundedly. There was literally no need to be this loud or make this scene. He himself isn't injured or tired while Ochaco was just tired and had a few small scratches, not badly wounded. "Mn, Ida-kun, you don't need to worry about us," Ochaco softly uttered.
Ida didn't expect them to refuse and instead continued to babble on about what the two had done and why they should recieve immediate care only to notice that Izuku and Ochaco had already reached the front of the line.
"What did you expect? It literally only takes a 1 second kiss to heal a person…" Izuku said to Ida, who somewhat looked embarrassed and fervently apologized for the disturbance he had created. He didn't know why but he felt like he needed to do something after hesitating and ultimately not doing anything to help Ochaco on the test.
Izuku ignored Ida as he thought the guy to be an annoying individual who he definitely does not want to be near with.
He was the type who constantly needs to follow the rules and be a perfect hero, it was fine but he is also the type who needed to impose those expectations on his surroundings while Izuku just wanted to breeze through high school and finish his license already.
Izuku looked at Ochaco, who was being smooched by Recovery Lady, and felt like hanging out with nice and simple girls like her would be a hundred times better for his mind. 'It'll be nice if everyone in my class is like her…'
"Good work out there lad, especially on the end," Recovery Lady said as she smooched Izuku's arm. Before Izuku could answer, he felt his whole body suddenly bursting with strength as he felt a string of power coursing through his entire line of veins.
Izuku suddenly felt something was about to escape from within him as he swiftly stood up, leaving Lin to Ochaco, and ran from the crowded scene. Under the surprised gaze of everyone, Izuku already ran dozens of meters before unwittingly arriving at the deactivated giant robot. His body shivered continuously as he can't keep the sudden burst of energy within him any longer.
"AARGHH!" Izuku yelled at the top of his lungs before a black orb with white outer glow came out from within his chest. As the orb flew towards the sky, Izuku dropped down and felt as if all the sudden bursts of energy suddenly fade away into nothingness, but he knew better.
"Oh fuck…" Izuku was tired, his body almost couldn't respond to his commands anymore, but he knew this wasn't the time for it when he saw his black orb already sucking in every object a few meters within it excluding Izuku.
This was bad! A Chibaku Tensei shouldn't explode if going by his memories of the anime, but, his version of it explodes after a certain period of time. The worst part is, Izuku knew literally nothing about when it would happen. His stamina isn't being depleted after the initial cast so there's no indicator at all!
If anyone so much as to get injured, it would be on him. They could die for all Izuku cares about, but not like this. Not when it was he who caused it and definitely not in such open public places.
He tried to control the damn orb but to no avail, he couldn't even feel any connection with it. Izuku quickly ran towards the murmuring crowd and shouted, "GET THE FUCK OUT!". He saw them not heeding his calls and shouted once more, "FUCKING RUN OR YOU'LL BE IN DANGER!"
Recover Lady saw his urgent demeanor and quickly followed his call as she prompted everyone to quickly get cover. She didn't know what that black orb Izuku let out was but after seeing that it had amassed the surrounding buildings and robot scraps until it reached a meter in diameter, it couldn't be good.
Everyone followed her words and ran towards the replica city's outer gate. Some of them had already realized the gravity of the situation and had already run before the rest and reached the outer gates.
Izuku searched and found the small Mineta amongst the one who stayed. He grabbed Lin from Ochaco and gave her to Toga, "Leave to safety with Lin and I'll do one thing for you,"
"What about you?" Toga worriedly asked, seeing the ball of mass enlarging by the second.
"Just get out, I need to act first or this'll be bad. Now go," Izuku didn't bother with Toga and the complaining Lin and pushed her to run away. Although leaving Lin with Toga isn't the best, he couldn't risk Lin's safety, even if she wanted to stay with him.
Toga nodded and ran with Lin in her arms. She used Mineta's bouncy quirk to propel her feet faster and rushed away with the crowd.
Recovery Lady who was carried by Ida saw Izuku staying instead of running with the crowd and shouted, "LAD! WHAT ARE YOU DOING?"

Back inside the surveillance room. Present Mic had just announced the end of the entrance exam as everyone discussed their notes and findings of each participant.
There was already a giant monitor showing the villain scores of all participants. Bakugou was at the top with 97, followed by Ida and Izuku at 52 and 50 respectively.
Nezu was about to announce the end of the exam and start calculating the rescue points only to be interrupted when Midnight, who was intently watching Izuku's monitor, pointed out his unprecedented actions.
"Is that the orb from his first quirk outburst?" Nezu looked at Izuku with interest. His keen eyes noticed Izuku shivering uncontrollably and slumped his shoulders down right after the orb left his body and immediately understood the situation. It wasn't an intentional attack at least, but he still wasn't sure what was happening.
All-Might heard Nezu and immediately remembered his detective friend, Naomasa, recounting to him Izuku's quirk awakening timeline.
'It amassed matter from its surroundings until it finally…exploded!' He remembered Naomasa saying the initial ball only reached basketball size, while the one on their screen had reached much much more than that!
All-Might suddenly turned into his bulky form and swiftly left the room. Every pro hero saw his solemn face before he left and immediately followed suit, rushing to Izuku's exam section while the rest watched the ongoing screen.

Ochaco's body had recovered to its peak after being smooched by Recovery Lady. She initially wanted to thank Izuku after this by treating him to lunch after this. Even though her money is a bit tight, she won't mind splurging a bit for Izuku.
She saw Izuku being smooched like she did and wanted to ask but stopped when she saw Izuku shivering and running into the testing grounds.
When she saw Izuku running back with a tired face while shouting to run, she immediately followed his words and asked everyone to run along. Even if she didn't understand what that orb is, He was calm even in the face of the giant robot, and anything that could rile him up like this must've been dangerous.
Ochaco let Izuku take Lin off of her and saw him giving it to his friend who ran away with her. Ochaco was almost at the gate when she realized Izuku wasn't anywhere near her nor Mineta. She looked back and saw Izuku hurriedly striding back toward the orb.
She wanted to shout and tell him to come to her but Recovery Lady had taken her place. Even after then, Izuku still stayed. Not everyone had reached the gate as they watched Izuku abruptly stopping in front of the other contestants in the destroyed city. His hood fluttered with the pulling force of the orb as his loose sheathed sword couldn't resist and got sucked in as well.
Izuku tried to grasp the sword back only for him to immediately dismiss the idea as the orb, the ball of matter that had reached 5 meters in diameter, exploded.
