Capítulo 115: Love Letter for Grace

When the trial began, it was clear that the prosecution had no evidence of anyone else's involvement behind Noah Walker. Noah was sentenced to fourteen years in prison, while the other four were each sentenced to ten years. Reef was a witness in the trial, as were Grace and several other employees. Grace was the key witness. She sat stoically on the witness stand and answered the questions of the prosecutor and the defendants' lawyers with stoicism.

  Once, Reef met Noah before the trial began. Noah's face was grim and disheveled. His eyes were haggard and red. He shaved before the trial, but it still didn't make him look any better. Reef actually felt sorry for the person who had once been his good friend. However, when he remembered that Noah had almost destroyed the company, he suppressed his melancholy and became practical.

  "How are you?" asked Reef, sitting across from the awkward-looking Noah. "Actually, I don't like seeing you like this."
