Before I knew it, it was Friday.
After a heavy rain, the fragrance of nameless flowers in the garden downstairs was rich and assaulting, mixed with a unique post-rain scent of earthy dampness.
Nian Yuyu dressed very casually, wearing flip-flops, and strolled leisurely towards the main entrance of Jing'an Garden.
"Xiaoyang." She waved to the teenager wearing a black T-shirt, who looked quite cool, from a distance.
Chu Yang, hearing her, looked over and walked up to her with long strides.
"Sister Yuyu."
Nian Yuyu smiled with her eyes curving, "You've finished your middle school exams, you can relax now."
Chu Yang nodded and glanced at the residential area filled with the atmosphere of daily life and the Tai'an New Town across the street, which were very different.
His brother now lived here.
"Let's go buy groceries first." Nian Yuyu looked up at him, "We'll cook dinner for your brother tonight."
Chu Yang's expression stiffened for a moment, "I can't cook."
