"You should deal with Lucifer. If he messes with your woman, you ruin his plans!

Something in him screamed out to him. "This way, if you do that, it will also tell everyone never to mess with your mate because even if you aren't there she is still well protected."

"You have to set an example!"

"I will!"

Esme laid down with her head on Reynard's lap she didn't respond to anything everyone said but she was listening attentively. 

 Though she was shaken by the dream, however, she wasn't as shaken as she made it appear.

 she wanted to see what happens next. She wanted to know if she will transform into what she saw in that dream, but when that didn't happen she knew that someone was trying to mess with her.

Hence, when she heard Selena talk about Lucifer being the one behind it, Esme knew she was right because only Lucifer was capable enough to tamper with people's dreams.
