 Esme gritted her teeth and her knuckles clenched at his cruel words. A lump formed in her throat but she did all she could to stop herself from crying.

"If you want, then I can always be like her." Esme offered but Reynard chuckled instead. His eyes showed a hint Mockery as he looked at Esme. "You want to be like her?

 "Yes, I can be." Esme boldly replied. 

"Really? Are you sure you are up for it?

"Huh? Esme wasn't understanding what he was talking about. What is she up for? 

 "Being his secretary or being his Bang Mate."

 "You sure aren't" Reynard Laughed seeing her clueless expression. He waved his hand in the air in dismissal. "Go home puppy, and ask Mama to protect you from wolves.
