  "I don't think it's right to continue doing that Lydia.

"What? Lydia asked with disbelief. "What do you mean?

"Esme wouldn't like you coming so close to me, so Can you stay away? Please?

"What Reynard? Are you saying I can't hug you because your little baby isn't okay with it?

 "That's right." Reynard affirmed..

"Reynard! How can you say that? I am your girlfriend!

 "She Is My Mate! Reynard nonchalantly replied. He left Lydia and the others to go get the water. 

 "Reynard! Reynard!!

Reynard pretended not to hear her as he went back to Esme's room. He stayed awake through the night keeping watch on Esme. He would sprinkle some water on her when she is perspiring, to keep her hydrated And he'd feed her some water when she asks for it.
