Capítulo 9: 9 The power of Munch
"Go, take it, It's yours." Doflamingo said, giving the Snow fruit to Lawliet.
But like a statue, Lawliet remain quiet in front of him, unmoving.
Lawliet is tempted.
He wanted to eat the Snow fruit to feel what it feels to become a Snow-human. Even though he knows that this is a trap by Doflamingo to make him feel indebted to him.
He is still tempted.
Becoming a natural elements, are one of Lawliets dream in the past.
To turn his body to lightning, fire or water at will.
Either way he knows what his goal right now.
To fully make his dream come true, he needs to completely finish his goals.
And to finish it, he needs that Devil fruit.
"I'm sorry."
"I admit, that I'm tempted to eat that fruit. But, I've already set my sight on a specific fruit." Lawliet said, making Doflamingo's face turn ugly, but he immediately hid that.
"Is that so?... Well, too bad then. But, if you don't mind, can you tell me what this specific fruit you've set your sight on?" Doflamingo asks, putting the Snow fruit inside of a small wooden treasure chest, and locked it.
Lawliet is wide eye looking at it, while Doflamingo is putting the chest inside his table.
"Well, I don't actually mind. I will be even glad if you can help me find it." Lawliet said smiling calmly, giving Doflamingo a hidden message that he should look at it for him.
What a thick faced guy. he's simply requesting Doflamingo to get that fruit for him.
Shameless.
Doflamingo, noticing the hidden message at those words, just grit his teeth at this.
He feels like he's been fooled recruiting this shameless guy
Anyway it's okay, he has a great use for him.
"What I'm looking for is the Munch fruit. The one with the ability to turn it's eater to a Munch-human, giving him powers to devour anything." Lawliet said, surprising Doflamingo a bit.
Doflamingo hearing this, immediately run his smart brain, remembering everything he knows about the Munch fruit.
'Wait a minute. I think I know this fruit.' He suddenly thought.
"Is it the one who had the ability to turn it's users body to anything he ate in the past 24 hours? Like Baby 5 Weapons fruit?" Doflamingo asks, remembering some things about the fruit when he saw it in the Devil fruit encyclopedia.
Munch Fruit. The fruit that can turn it's eater to a Munch-human. Giving the abilities to turn it's users body into anything the user ate before in the past 24 hours before it's been fully digested.
It's had a lot of similarities to Baby 5 Weapons fruit.
But it's inferior to the Weapons fruit because of it's limited arsenal. It's also has a weakness that it can never use again the things the user ate that passed 24 hours inside the user's body.
Simply to say, if you didn't eat anything in the past 24 hours, you're simply like a normal human, but with the weaknesses of a Devil fruit eater, like the seastone and seawater.
"Yes! That's what I'm looking for." Lawliet replied.
Doflamingo can't believe that.
'I'm sure there's a catch here.' Doflamingo thought, looking at Lawliet.
Even though he just knows him in these past few days, he already realizes that Lawliet has a bright mind who has the capabilities to become one of the smartest humans ever existed in the whole World.
That his mind is not that simple, and his way of thinking and imagination are not at the normal level.
'...!!!'
'Is it possible? No, it's not, it's already been proved that it's impossible to do that.'
Doflamingo then turned his head again and look at Lawliet.
"Why that fruit? Is it because it can devour other Devil fruit users and use their abilities?" Doflamingo asks, surprising Lawliet.
Don't ask Doflamingo how come he thought of this kind of theory, that's been rumored if possible in Lawliet's past world.
He's smart and cunning so seeing some ridiculous kind of Devil fruit, he of course can't help but think of smart ways how to use it.
It's just he theorized this before when he saw the Munch-fruit.
"Wait? Is that possible?" Lawliet asks, confusing Doflamingo who made a frown on his face.
"Is it possible to eat Devil fruit users to use their abilities using the Munch fruit?" He added.
This theory of Munch fruit has already been rumored in his Homeworld, because of Munch fruit ability to devour everything, (except seastones) and change their body to the thing they ate.
It's theorized that it's also possible to use Multiple Devil fruit abilities without dying, if the Munch user devour other Devil fruit user without killing them.
It's like a vessel eating a another vessel to use their ability.
A kind of Titan shifter inheritance thing.
Doflamingo with a confused face, answered Lawliet calmly: "No."
"It's just my theory."
"But I've heard that many already tried that before but they've all ended up dying." He said truthfully.
He already tried looking for that fruit before, but he heard rumors in some of his connections that what he theorized is impossible. That many people had already tried that thing, and all ended up dying.
Doflamingo dislike rumors. But thinking about it carefully, the World Government should have already given that fruit great importance since it can bypass the rule of 'you can only eat one Devil fruit'.
So he abandoned up the idea and, made up his plans.
Lawliet hearing his answer nodded his head in understanding.
It's not that easy to bypass the rules.
He is not discouraged hearing this. In fact he already concluded this thing before after he thought of it carefully.
And also...
He read an article about this before.
When Oda has been asked by a fan in a question and answer thing.
The fan asks in something like this: "What if someone eat Luffy. Do will get his ability? Or maybe if someone like Wapol ate him, can he use his Rubber ability?"
Oda just answered: "No! They will get food poisoning."
Lawliet thinks about if it's some kind of joke or a fact, since if you really ate Rubber you will get food poisoning.
But thinking if the Munch fruit can bypass the rule of 'you can only eat one Devil fruit' thing.
It will hell'a be so OP.
"Yeah, Thought so. It will be hella so OP that it will ruin the World's Power scales if it's true." Lawliet unconsciously muttered what's on his mind, while looking down, grabbing the attention of Doflamingo to him.
"OP? World power scales?" Doflamingo asks, waking up Lawliet on his deep thoughts, and look at him surprised.
"A-ah-- It's nothing. I-I'm just talking to myself." Lawliet said stuttering.
Doflamingo squint his eyes below his purple shades, doubting his answers, but finally just decided to just let it pass
"Then why do you want that fruit?" He asks Lawliet.
Lawliet hearing him decided to not lie to him, since he's pretty much being 'sus' here, but also he still decided to not tell everything
"Actually, It's simple why I want it."
"Manufacturing."
Doflamingo got immediately interested upon hearing the word manufacturing.
'Manufacturing?... Wait a minute, there is another ability of the Munch fruit that has been said in the Devil Fruit Encyclopedia.' He thought.
On the other hand, Lawliet continued explaining the ability of the Munch fruit to Manufacture different kinds of products, depending on the user's knowledge and devoured Materials.
"Hmm... So, you're saying that eating this fruit, you can cut the time needed in making a weapon, giving you more time in making more." Doflamingo said in a bright tone.
Lawliet nodded on this, and also added: "Yeah, and all processes will become easier. it's not easy to craft you know, and also the probability of the product malfunctioning or failing will almost be reduced to null." He said, bringing more smiles on Doflamingo's face.
"I see... Well then, I will help you, I assure you that." Doflamingo said, making Lawliet scream in joy inside his mind.
'Yes!!! Yes! Yes! Yes! YESSSSS!!!!!' He screamed inside his mind.
What he said about the Munch fruit to Doflamingo is true, the main number one use of that fruit is to manufacture things more faster and easier.
But he didn't tell him about the other terrifying ability of that fruit.
Compounding metal alloys.
'Vibranium, Adamantiun, Carbonadium, Shit!!! I'm excited!' Lawliet thought, screaming like a girl inside his mind.
This is the very main problem that Lawliet has ever had ever since he arrived in this World.
Non-existing Metals, and Materials.
There's metal, Iron yes, but to build some of the technology that he has in his mind, he needs the given specific materials.
He can use alternative materials that he can find in this world, but it's still not enough.
He needs more durable, more resilient, and sometimes even more radioactive. And I tell you, those kinds of Materials, are almost impossible to find.
This is why most of his projects are depending on this fruit. So he can compound rare metals using the ability of it.
Later on, Lawliet and Doflamingo started to talk about manufacturing the weapons Lawliet made.
And then after that Lawliet return back to his room, to heal himself, and to rest.
It's not easy to notice but he was sure drain this day.

Then a few more days had passed, The burned Lawliet got in the explosion finally healed, he even wondered how in the hell that that kind of burned healed so fast.
But he remembered that it's the Anime Logic of One Piece.
Eat many meats, drink liters of milf, and sleep a ton of hours, and for just a few days you're totally healed.
So unscientific. Well, all is well in the end now he's healed, it's just that he can't explain how the hell meat, milk, and sleep help him heal.
"I think, I should be able to continue my training now that I'm healed." He said walking around the courtyard of the manor, with a good aura around him.
He doesn't know why but he feels he's so full of energy that he can go to War for straight three days without sleeping.
It's a weird interpretation, but it's just that he was so bored these past few days that he is willing to look for a fight just to relieve his boredom.
But of course he will not challenge strong people that he was sure that he doesn't have the strength to deal with.
Like Doflamingo or any of the Donxiote executives.
He was full of energy and bored, yes, but he was not a masochist and muscle head to fight a losing fight, that he will be more likely beaten to a pulp.
He hates to rest his days again inside of a confined room lying in a bed, it was too damn boring.
"Maybe I should add on my list, the global manufacturing of Phones." He said, closed eyes, thinking deeply.
'Nami posting sexy pics on social media, Sanji vlogging cooking channel in Youtube, and of course Ussop and Luffy making funny video and posting memes on Facebook.'
"Ok, it's interesting, I'll add it in my Bucket list." He said, hammering his fist to his palm.
But then he met Law, Baby 5, and Buffalo running towards him. With their tongues hanging out, and sweat all over their body.
Tiredness will be seen on their face, they all have dark looks on their face, like they just met the Devil from Hell itself.
Despair.
Seeing this Lawliet immediately stop on his tracks, and immediately turn around facing the door that will led him inside the manor.
'THE HELL WITH THAT?!!! IT'S LIKE THEY'RE FROM THE SCOUTS REGIMEN IN AOT, AND THEY'VE JUST FROM OUTSIDE THE WALLS AND MET TITANS THEMSELVES!!!'
"Shit! I've gotta hide, I feel in danger!" He said brisk walking towards the door.
Call him a coward, he doesn't care. He's not going to let himself be caught and experience this kind of hell.
'Poor childrens, To be abused like this, oh you may rest in peace.' Lawliet jokingly thought, Inside his mind but then--
-A rough hand suddenly grabbed his shoulder making him stopped on his place.
'I want to curse shit, but I think I will go with--'
"This is too cliche!" He said, turning around meeting an old guy in a blue spandex suit.
The old guy has a buff body, and smiling to him a knowing smile.
"Fcuk! who are you?"
