Iris then told Cane about what she felt and how she felt this slightest attachment on him, or how her heart ached when she felt what he felt.

"I thought you could only feel the other person's feeling and see their memories when they were inflicted by dark magic and you absorbed it." Cane frowned. He hovered above her, while Iris had her back laid down on the makeshift bed inside the carriage. 

They had arrived in the pack house, but Cane didn't want to move yet before he got the whole explanation from his mate. 

"At first, I have the same thought, but I can feel the power is growing within me ever since Na's life essence completely became one with me." Iris became more sensitive with dark magic and she could feel it strongly from Rei and some of the people that came with him. Needless to say, they must have tangled themselves with black magic. "I feel the power is growing…" she muttered to herself.
