"He is going to wave her in front of our faces. If I had to guess, he is going to bring her here, to use her to try to get us to surrender. And you would, you know you would. You would do anything for her, and she would do anything for you. Going on a suicide mission will do nothing more than cause you to lose each other forever," Landon said matter-of-factly. 

"The last thing I want to do is hurt you, you must know that. I won't lose you, I just can't."

Kelly was touched by his father's words.

  Apparently, having a son brought out the sentimental side of the Alpha. 

He knew his father loved him, but it wasn't something they talked about often -- or ever.

Unfortunately, Kelly had a counter argument.

  "I won't lose Isla. I just can't."

He wasn't going to budge on this. 

Besides, his wolf wouldn't dare let him consider taking the chance that Harry would bring Isla with him.
