As they all looked at the hooded figure, Axel couldn't help but feel a sense of unease. The figure remained motionless, standing in front of the throne, and seemed to be staring directly at them with piercing eyes. Ekail tightened his grip on his knives, ready for any sudden movements.
Navi, always curious, stepped forward cautiously and addressed the figure. "Who are you?" she asked, her voice trembling slightly. The figure didn't respond, but Navi continued to speak. "What are you doing here? How did you survive all these years?"
The figure remained silent, but Axel could sense a powerful aura emanating from it. He could tell that this was no ordinary human being and that they should proceed with caution.
At that time, a system panel manifested itself in front of his eyes.
"Nen Beast, Gatekeeper"
"No Information"
As they stood there, trying to make sense of the situation, the figure suddenly raised its hand and pointed towards the crystal that Axel had been inspecting earlier. "That crystal," it said in a deep, raspy voice. "It is the key."
Axel and the others exchanged glances, unsure of what the figure meant. "The key to what?" Axel asked, taking a step forward.
"The key to unlocking the secrets of this place lies here," the figure replied. "The key to unleashing the power that lies dormant within"
Axel and the others looked at each other in disbelief. They had come this far in their quest for knowledge, but they had never expected to find something like this. They knew that they had to proceed with caution, but they couldn't deny the thrill of excitement that they felt at the prospect of discovering something truly extraordinary.
At that time, Axel smiled a little, looked at the hooded figure, and started talking.
"Tell me, beast, the nen beast, gatekeeper, why you are alone and there is no master of yours."
Axel stood firm, his eyes locked onto the hooded figure, and he called out, "Nen Beast Gatekeeper, I command you to reveal yourself." The hooded figure was taken aback, clearly surprised that Axel could see through its disguise. The rest of the group looked on in shock, wondering how Axel knew the figure was a nen beast and even knew its name.
Slowly, the hooded figure began to shift and transform, its disguise falling away to reveal a sleek and powerful beast with razor-sharp claws and a wicked set of fangs. The gatekeeper snarled and bared its teeth, clearly unhappy about being exposed.
Axel stepped forward, his hand outstretched, as he called out to the beast once again. "Gatekeeper, we mean you no harm. We are simply here to explore this ancient ruin and uncover its secrets. Will you allow us to pass?"
The Gatekeeper hesitated, eyeing the group warily before finally nodding its head in acquiescence. With a low growl, the beast padded away, disappearing into the shadows.
Axel let out a breath he didn't even realize he had been holding and turned to the rest of the group. "Let's keep moving," he said, gesturing for them to follow him. "We don't want to linger here any longer than we have to."
Navi and others were not sure about letting a creature like that go on its way, but they had no reason to start a battle against it if it was not going to harm them. Axel decided to expose the creature because he knew that crystal is no key to anything. Other than having the ability to block, it does not matter.
