"I want you to divorce that woman." Richard repeated his statement in case his son didn't hear him clearly the first time, and before Cassian could give his response, Richard went further to explain. "To be frank, I'm not saying this out of selfishness since you've portrayed me to be someone who lacks character, but for the safety of everyone living under my roof, this is the best decision I can come up with."
Richard adjusted his collar before pushing his chair back a little. He concentrated his gaze on his son who silently pondered on the things his father had said. If Richard wanted to be really honest, he was never in agreement to Cassian marrying someone who wasn't from the upper East quarters.
