#Chapter112
Daddy Daughter Say Out-04
I could see sadness reflecting in his blue orbs that mine were replicas of and its then that I realized that despite his ever cheery persona dad was actually still grieving the loss of mom and I think even more so since he and I found each other because I reminded him of her. Getting up from my seat I walk over to him and pulled him up and into a tight hug. Because of his height my head barely reached his chest. We both drew strength from each other in that one hug ignoring all the stares we got, only releasing each other when the food came.
/"Thank you./" dad says after the waiter placed our food down and left. I nod my head needing no explanation for his thanks I think we both needed that hug
/"I wanted to ask you something about the war./" I say a few minutes into eating.
/"Go ahead,/" he urged.
