#Chapter4
Present day:
Sasha sighed and wiped her face and ran her fingers through her hair, it had taken him six more months to finally get over it and drop the act of having Fish follow her around. The first time she had noticed it, she had been surprised and thought Fish had parked where she couldn’t spot him but then it had went on like that and have been like that till date until now. He hasn’t got Fish to start following her again but he had start with asking her if she was really going to where she said she was.
She just can’t understand how they came back to that phase again, what went wrong? She knew she didn’t do anything, she didn’t lie to him so why has he gone back to that, what happened? So many times she had thought of asking him but she doesn’t know how to do it, she doesn’t want it to seem that she was hiding something which was why she couldn’t take his extra questions to be sure but it was sure as hell weighing her down like it did back then. She picked up her phone and searched through her phonebook, her thumb hovered over a contact that she hadn’t called for the past three years now. She blew out a deep breath, contemplating whether to dial the number or not but at the end, she turned off her screen and placed the phone on the desk, resting her head on her chair.
The door opened then and she didn’t bother to know who, only six people can enter her office like that and they were her four friends, her husband and her mother. Even Vanessa knocks before entering. She groaned and asked, /"what is it?/"
/"Hey girl,/" Janet said, taking the seat opposite her, /"what’s up?/"
/"What do you want?/"
/"Whoa, what’s with the attitude?/" Janet asked.
Sasha sighed and sat up on her chair, /"I’m just having a rough day. Any news?/"
/"Well, I just finished interviewing your new secretary. He is quite a catch if you tell me./"
/"You know, nowadays I wonder if approaching your menopause makes you horny?/"
/"What? Sasha, I am only thirty five, there is no woman in my age that is in her menopause, okay? Besides, saying I’m in my menopause means you are too right? After all, we are peers./"
Sasha rolled her eyes, /"sometimes nowadays, I don’t know whether you are the one talking or Agatha speaking through you./"
Janet laughed, /"I was only trying to work you up and it seems it has been working. You have been moody these past days girl, what’s up?/"
Sasha heaved a sigh, /"I just have a lot in my mind./"
/"Then I have the news that will lighten you up. The girls have been discussing and we all agreed that we don’t have time for ourselves anymore, it’s now work and family and so we have decided to let the men handle the kids tonight while we go out and let off so steam. It’s been long we have our girls night, and it’s Friday, so why not tonight. What do you say?/"
Sasha smiled, /"that’s a nice idea and I will really need that booze./"
Janet laughed, /"It’s a deal then, see you in Blues,/" she stood up and dropped the file she had been holding all along, /"that’s everything you need to know about your knew secretary, he will be starting on Monday and I will want you to know at least his name unlike the last one you end up calling Secretary till he resigned./"
/"I will do that,/" she replied.
/"Good,/" Janet nodded before retreating to the door, /"I will tell the girls you are in?/"
/"Sure, mm hmm,/" she nodded while going through the file and heard the door closed. She glanced at the blonde haired guy with green eyes in the passport and frowned, wondering why he reminds her so much of someone. She glanced briefly at the name, memorizing Sebastian and closed the file, dropping it on her desk with the thought to go back to it later.

Sasha knocked on Michael’s study door before opening the door softly, she saw him behind his desk and their eyes met. He smiled to her before replying to someone on the phone and she took his smile as a welcome and entered the office. She saw surprise flashed through his eyes on seeing her dressed up and she curled her hands behind her, bouncing between her toes and heels and her eyes on the floor.
/"Yeah, uh huh, of course, I will look into it and get back to you,/" Michael was saying on the call and she could tell he was in a haste to end it already. /"Very well, Jones, I will see what I can do. Great, good night./" He hung up the call and glanced at her from her head to toe, /"where is the party and why am I not invited?/"
Sasha chuckled nervously and replied, /"you will if you are willing to be a transgender./"
/"No thank you, I will pass,/" he smiled, /"so…where are you off to?/"
She bit her lips softly and cleared her throat, she was a little nervous to tell him and she doesn’t know why, /"well, the girls decided we have played family and working class women enough and we needed to let off some steam. So we decided to have a girls night out tonight at the blues and let the men handle the kids./"
/"Mm,/" Michael looked thoughtful and Sasha could feel her heart beating louder with each passing second, /"girls night out?/"
/"Yes./"
/"Is it really?/" he looked straight at her and Sasha felt her heart break with the question. Guess that was what she has been afraid of, him thinking she was just lying to go somewhere else.
She closed her eyes to hold in her tears and was suddenly not in the mood to go out anymore, /"yes Michael,/" she replied softly, /"you can call Janet and ask./"
Michael face palmed and sighed, /"I’m sorry, I’m sorry,/" he whispered, /"go on, have fun./"
/"I don’t have to go if you don’t want…/"
/"No, no, it’s okay, it’s okay./" He stood up from his seat and walked towards her. He ran his hands up and down her arms, /"you can go, have fun. I will look after the kids just as they want,/" he smiled, /"if you think you are too drunk to drive, call me, I will be waiting for you, okay?/"
Sasha nodded but deep in her heart she wished to say ‘please don’t call Fish to follow me’, but she didn’t and just smiled, /"thank you./"
/"Have fun,/" he leaned down and placed a soft kiss on her lips, /"I love you./"
/"I love you more./"
He caressed her cheek with his thumb, /"I love you most,/" he smiled and nodded towards the door. She smiled and waved at him softly before walking out. Michael stood staring at the door for a long time, different scenarios played in his mind and at the end, he couldn’t handle it and went straight to his phone and dialed a number. /"Sasha went to the Blues, follow her and report to me,/" he ordered when the call connected and hated himself for doing so but he just couldn’t help it, he would rather do it than have history repeat itself.
