Holding onto a secret

I ended up back in therapy, thanks to my setback. I had hidden my eating disorder until now. My parents and family didn’t know I reverted to my past behavior towards the end of junior year. No one knew since I hid it from everyone except for that day.

It was the day Cody rejected me, and Brandon told me to leave him alone. When your crush and best friend reject you, it’s one of the worst feelings in the world.

While I attended therapy, I refused to speak to anyone. I didn’t want people to know my secret. I didn’t need reminding of how pathetic I was. I already knew. It was better this way.
