Gone fishing

I told Paige to dress for our date. I picked her up, and we got into the car.

She looked at the back seat. /"Let me guess, fishing?/"

/"Well, you’re a smart cookie. I don’t think I could go out with a flighty girl./" I smiled

Paige shook her head.

I drove us to the pier. We got out of the car. I grabbed the poles and tackle box and handed her a plastic container. /"Try not to drop them, or it will piss the fish off that you destroyed their food./"

She rolled her eyes.

We walked onto the dock. I set the poles down then set everything up. I took the container, picked out the fattest worm, and placed it on the hook. I handed her the pole, and she refused it. She picked up the other rod, grabbed a worm out of the container, and wrapped it around the hook. She cast the line into the water. Well, damn.

I cast my line into the water. /"Where did you learn to fish?/"
