A powerful friend

"I'm going to get her back," Christopher said, his voice low and dangerous. "I don't care what it takes."

He had been wondering where he would go to find her. Now that he knew where she was, he didn't want to delay a second.

Christopher's eyes burned with anger. If Sebastian wanted his daughter, he could have approached them and talked to them clearly. His mind raced with questions.

What was the need to pull up all this drama? What motivated him to stage Abigail's death? Did he believe he could keep it hidden forever?

Sebastian had shown enmity toward the Shermans without any apparent reason by launching that attack. Eddie could have been killed.

If he had talked to them clearly about Abigail, they could have helped him protect her. What had driven him to such extreme measures? Did he not know his daughter's feelings? How could he keep her away from her husband?
