Capítulo 65: Royal palace.
(Kiera POV)
I got back to my dorms and took out a suitcase and started to pack some things into it. Just clothes and necessities really nothing more or less.
Tess got back soon after with Catherine once I had finished packing my stuff and they decided to do theirs now as well.
"You're really coming?!" Tess asked me with a big smile and eyes gleaming.
"Yes, I am." I replied.
"I thought you would say no." Catherine said as she stuffed a crop top into her suitcase.
"And why's that?" I asked as I looked over.
"Just because." She replied.
"Well that doesn't matter. I was told that it would be a trip of sorts and Scarlet told me I can't take it back that I said I was going before giving the actual details so whatever. The royal family though, I don't know how to act in front of them. I'm not going to suck up to them." I said as I walked to the door leading to the balcony.
"Well I for one am excited! I'm happy you are coming as well Kiera!" Tess said as she finished ramming her clothes into her suitcase.
We all had the same brand suitcase but different colours. Tess had red, Catherine had green and I had black, like most of my other stuff.
After we finished packing Tess and Catherine came to the balcony with me and started talking to me about what they did they also asked me what happened when Scarlet called me over and with that we then talked all the way into the night. I had little input as I'm not much of a speaker.

The next day we were up early and took our stuff to the front gate of the school and waited for everyone to arrive.
"I see some people have arrived." I heard a boy say as he approached us. He had short blonde hair, chocolate coloured skin and vibrant green eyes with wolf ears along with a tail?
'I haven't seen many different races around the academy.' I thought to myself.
"What you don't like my ears?" He said looking unhappy.
"No, not at all. I haven't seen many other races around that is all." I said back to him.
"I see, I'm Terry by the way." He said with a little smile and a swish of his tail.
"Kiera."
"Ah- I'm Tess."
"I'm Catherine."
"I'm Mio." I heard someone else, Mio, running up to us.
"I'm early?" She said as she put her suitcase down.
"I think so." Catherine said.
"Good morning everyone." Scarlet said as she came over to us. "Once everyone is here we will set off, alright?"
Everyone agreed and waited for the others to arrive.
It didn't take long for everyone to gather so once everyone was there we all boarded a golden carriage that was parked outside of the gates. There was two of them.
"I don't think there is enough room inside the carriages." Scarlet said.
"I'll ride a horse." I said to Scarlet as I walked over to a white horse with a black mane.
"That horse doesn't let people-"
"Hm?" I said as I turned my head around.
"How?" Scarlet said surprised.
"How what?" I asked.
"How is that horse letting you touch it? It's known for not allowing anyone to touch it!" Scarlet said before sighing, "whatever. That resolves the issue then. Everyone board the carriages."
"You going to be alright on a horse?" Tess asked me as she got on one of the carriages.
"Probably." I replied.
"Let's set off!" Scarlet said as she rode her brown horse in front of the two carriages that had coachmen holding the reigns of the horses that pulled along the vehicles.
I rode up next to Scarlet. It wasn't hard getting used to horse riding and was quite easy so I didn't struggle at all.
"Have you ridden a horse before?" Scarlet asked.
"Not that I remember, no." I replied as I patted the head of the horse I was riding.
"Your a natural then. No surprise." Scarlet chuckled.

After about a two hour or so journey we arrived at the palace gates and parked the carriages and put the horses in the stables.
We walked up to the massive metal gates which held the palace behind them. 6 guards that wore a red knights uniform were stationed in front of said gates and one was sent to inform everyone of our arrival.
A butler came out and let us in after four minutes of waiting and led us inside to a waiting room.
"That journey really tired me out." The boy named Adam said. He had short red hair and brown eyes.
"You think your tired? Kiera should be the one who is tried, she rode a horse while you just sat there and did nothing." Catherine laughed.
"I guess your right." Adam laughed along with Catherine.
We waited in that room for about 15 minutes before five people entered the room. Everyone stood up and bowed so I did the same.
"You may relax. Do not be troubled by my presence." An old man with short grey hair and grey eyes said.
'The king?' I thought trying to remember what was shown in my history books that I revised.
'Ah, this is the royal family then.' I though.
There was an older woman with pink hair that had grey streaks through it and yellow eyes. Next to her was a younger man maybe around 16 years old and he had silver hair and yellow eyes. The girl next to the king had pink hair and grey eyes. She looked to be around 16 as well.
The Prince was looking directly at me and smiled when I looked over at him and the Princess was also looking at me.
'Am I doing something I shouldn't?'
"We will begin the expedition in an hour from now since you have all just arrived so I wish for you to relax before we begin our travels." The king said with a smile.
"Of course." Scarlet said as she bowed.
The king and queen then exited the room while the Prince and Princess stayed. They also came with a knight in full iron armour but they went off with the king.
"Behave you lot. I bid you farewell, Prince, Princess." Scarlet said as she followed the king and queen before closing the doors.
'So we are left alone then, huh? Whatever I just won't draw them over to me.'
"Hello everyone. I hope you had a pleasant trip." The Prince spoke to us all but was still staring at me.
'I don't want to get involved.'
