Capítulo 108: What is a Hero?
Izuku knew that in his current state he stood no chance against me, and in his eyes he was thinking about ways to escape, "Your not getting away unless I let you kid, but tell you what I'll be nice and let the kid go, he can stay if he wants but I won't go after him, after all I'm only interested in you, Izuku Midorya, after all your 'his' Sucessor and THE next great hero to be, right?" I say with a smirk as I sit on a rock as I look at the nervous and flustered face of his that somehow for some reason I knew who he really was when no one's supposed to know that.
"And before you ask a stupid question as to where I heard that well, you think one of the greatest villains of all time wouldn't have eyes and ears everywhere in this country? Besides your master isn't really being subtle you know with how much attention he's giving you in public." I decide to point out as so long as All for One tried to look into it in the original version of this world and had spys everywhere he would have found out at the latest by the time he joined UA.
"Then who are you?! And why are you after Bakugo!" He shouted out in frustration as he tried and ignored his injuries from mainly his broken and mangled arms of his.
"Me? Well you can just call me Dio, and as why we're after him? Well out of everyone we can take he is the most flashy, after all he did win that competition so all eyes are on him throughout the country right?" I decided to explain a little bit as why we're here in a plausible way.
He saw him visibly grit his teeth as I saw small bits of green lightning flow around his body as several veins on his body lit up as they were coursing with power but-
"Tsk Tsk Tsk, oh we can't have that." I say as I click my tongue I say before the bottom half of his legs fall right into his own shadow before they solidify instantly, causing him to basically become a sitting duck as now his arms and legs are completely unusable.
"Izuku!" The kid cries out as he sees the man who truly became his hero ultimately become helpless in my hands as he knelt down and tried to figure out how to get his legs out but with no idea what's happening as even the shadow that was coming from his body wasn't acting like any other shadow.
"Don't worry, your legs have only been separated from you and sent into the abyss, but you can still feel them can't you? If that's so then it should be obvious that I haven't cut them off your body, I'm just here to have a chat with you, satisfy my curiosity and I'll let you go, don't and well…. You not be needing your legs anymore will you?" I said as I pointed at the trapped Izuku who looked up at me with gritted teeth.
"So tell me Hero, what is a Hero? Because their are many different answers to that question." I decide to ask him.
"What is a Hero?…. A hero is the person that does everything they can to save people with a smile on their face, so they know everything is gonna be alright…." He says with determination while he looks up at me.
"Ahh the classic All Might version of a hero, sure that is an example of what Hero's in this day and age should be, but what I think of hero is one that will do anything to keep not just their country, but their families safe, you know back during the time people didn't have quirks and all these hero's and Villians there were comic books on what we imagined superhero's would be like with all of their amazing powers, but they have something most hero's now a days don't have, you wanna know what that is?" I say as I lean over and look down at him.
"They all had secret identities, you may not hear about it that much, but us Villians can be very vindictive, and hero's who don't go out of their way to hide their names and separate their civilian lives from their hero lives then we'll it will in the end put their families in danger as a result, by the way…. How's your mother doing Izuku?" I say with a smirk that crosses my lips as I watch his eyes dialate in horror.
"Y-you! What are you planning on doing?!?!"
"Me? Oh I'm not planning on doing anything…. Yet, because that's one big major weakness that none of you kids consider coming into UA is it? You start to make a name for yourselves not only in hero society, but in Villian society as well, so leaving your names and faces for everyone to see the second you get accepted into the hero course at UA not only paints a target on your back, but on your families back as well." I decided to lay the gravity of the situation down on him which started to make him and the kid sweat profusely at the thought of the consequences of being a hero without hiding your identity.
"Why do you think most hero's don't get married or have families? Or if they do they end up retiring and live a normal life afterwards? It's because they fear that villains will go after their families so they leave it all behind, unless of course they were a duo that were with each other always and ended up staying that way when they got married as a duo hero, like that kids parents over there." I say as I point at the kid who was looking at me with tears in his eyes.
"But with how society is we can't have Anti-hero's, those who have no qualms with killing Villians with their own hands, to exist as it we break the fragile order that society, oh wait…. Those blood stained hero's do exist, and I'm not talking about outside of Japan but within this country as well…." I say with a dark look on my face making it seem like I was being extremely serious with what I was saying.
"W-what? No, that can't be-"
"Possible? Why yes it can, after all the government, or should I say the Hero Public Safety Commission who is the ones who over see the Hero's under the jurisdiction of the government, has plenty of hero's that serve as not only as hero's but their own personal group of assassins as well, and I can name two of them for you that I know off the top of my head, one who couldn't keep doing it anymore and was put in Tartarus for actions against the interests of the commission and one who is still active and is a great hero who is already in the top ten hero ranking themselves." I say deciding to drop a bombshell on them with info their not supposed to be privy about for a long time.
I then hold up two fingers, "Former Hero Lady Nagant, and 3rd Rank Pro Hero Hawks, were or are both assassins for the HPSC, and those are the only two I know off the tops of my head, as their could be plenty more like them, some of them take it like a fish to water like Hawks, and others lose faith in what they are doing and are thus thrown away to become an example to keep hero's in check as to what happens to those who go against them…." I say before a notification from my phone pops up as I look at it and smirk as I look at the darkened face of Izuku and grin.
"Well looks like my Allie's are having some difficulties, so as much as this was a nice chat to have with you Izuku, I must go and help them out, but let's just say the next time we meet…. It's not gonna be so pleasant as this…." I say with an evil grin plastered on my face as my body is enveloped in shadows as I disappear from sight and releasing him after I'm gone.
The time is not right for him to fall yet, but if I can shake his faith in what it truly means to be a hero, then I have completed a small goal of mine.

Now then, time to help my new 'friends' out, and maybe make things even more chaotic for the future to come.
