SLSAENAH -> SLAENASH
*****
I was happy that I could activate the protocol which in actuality stood for Eyes of Heaven it seems, but as I am now I don't think it's time to activate it, at least not for now as I feel I am missing some pieces as to what it truly is before I should genuinely start it, but for now it can wait as I should deal with the man before me instead.
"Then I believe that Fate itself is what brought you here before me Valentine, it even deemed it worthy to bring you to not only a completely different version of Earth than your own, but one that is nearly a hundred years further along in time itself to bring you before me." I comment as this meeting should have been impossible had both Fate itself, and maybe fate through the chat, brought me to him or else I wouldn't have known of his arrival in my world in the first place.
"Indeed, it does seem that way, though even if I do go back I don't think I'll be a match for Johnny and his stand if I get hit by it again…." He says with a sigh as he realizes the predicament that he truly is in.
"You said his name is Johnny Joestar huh? If I'm correct he must be like how your worlds Diego is a version of myself, the Johnny would be my worlds version of Johnathan Joestar, but he must be completely different compared to mine if I'm to be believed." I decide to ponder out loud about it.
"Though why exactly are you in conflict with Johnny anyway?" It was odd that the President of the United States was fighting a Joestar, though I could feel that this man wasn't evil he also wasn't a good person with clean hands and seemed willing to do anything for what he believed was right for him that is.
"…. This wouldn't make such sense to you as they don't exist in your world and only exist in my version of earth's Timeline alone but the whole reason for our conflict is over the collection of what is known as the Saints Corpse, one which I believe to be the corpse of none other than Jesus Christ himself." He decides to tell me as it definitely doesn't exist here in this world, or it does but doesn't have the same properties as the corpse does in his world.
"Really? How interesting, though what does the corpse do to a person anyway?" It must have some miraculous benefits to someone, especially if it's indeed the corpse of Jesus Christ himself.
"If someone is able to gather the corpse parts and can use it properly, it can make it so one can avoid calamity and death itself by changing its trajectory to harm someone else in a different time and place, but it can not only benefit a single individual, if kept within a nations capital under lock and key it can in turn bring prosperity to that nations people instead." Valentine explained itself and what he truly wanted it for.
"So in the end all you truly desire is the prosperity of everyone in the United States, and for it to forever be the greatest country of all time?"
He nods as he grabs at his chest, "I don't desire world domination or anything of that sort, all I ever want for myself and the people who live in it to be able to forever prosper in it until the end everything itself."
"A noble goal, but your worlds fate seems to be against you Valentine, as you are and if you go back now your fate will stay the same, unless a stronger fate itself came and changed it for you, Valentine I shall offer you this, my Stand can help you escape your fate and even give you what you truly desire, but in return I must ask of this that in return you give me the Holy Corpse, in return the United States of your world shall forever remain prosperous." I say this as I've come to realize that the Saints Corpse is integral to the Eyes of Heaven plan for it to proceed.
"…." He goes silent after he hears what I have to say as he can feel it deep down what I'm saying is true but at the same time is having a hard time believing it all the same.
Seeing the conflicted look on his face, I decided to pull out my trump card as the story of this world actually changed with me meeting him as their wasn't one but actually two books, and from it alone I realized it was the book of his version of Earth, so seeing as I had no choice I decided to pull it out.
"Here, read this and I hope you understand how the fate of your world views you and how it all will end if I don't help you right here and now." I say as I hand him the first part of his worlds story that has him being the main Antagonist of its story.
The cover of the book was pure white with golden details of the portraits of six different important people to his universe emblazoned on the front with the words, 'Steel Ball Run' in red signifying the title.
Seeing it he turned the page and watched the story of his world as it unfolded following the prospective of the Protagonist of that world, Johnny Joestar, and his journey across America throughout the Steel Ball Run race, it gave such detail to Valentine about everything Johnny went through leading up all the way to his final battle Johnny and his ultimate defeat by him before he closed the book and just sighed in the end.
He then handed the book back to me before walking over to a nearby tree and leaning on it to think about things as it seemed as seeing how it all would end he had no intention of dying like that but at the same time even with all of what I have shown him, he knows that in the wrong hands that the Corpse could be disastrous to the world at large when used by someone evil.
Funny Valentine himself is not an evil man, he might do things that are morally wrong in one way or another but in the end of it all he just wants to protect his country and let it prosper as the strongest country of all time.
"Valentine, your loyalty to your country and your people is commendable and I respect that, but you should understand, I have no plans for Your America, or anything related to Your world, all I want is the Saints corpse, and return I shall personally make it so that your worlds America will prosper forever even without the Saints Corpse in it." I say the truth of the situation to him as his world will be left to him and him alone as I see no reason of controlling another version of earth that is no different from mine as with our earths being so similar that the strength that Fate itself gives me from conquering it would be minuscule at best.
And after everything I've come to realize that Fate itself is needed for one to ascend to Godhood itself, my next stepping stone that I plan to achieve for myself if I want to even stand a chance in this dangerous multiverse I've come to know.
So while his world would be pointless to conquer, the corpse itself seems integral to me ascending to true godhood, instead of my current state of being a Demigod with the powers I have now.
"…. Fine, after thinking it through and the gut feeling that what you say is true then I'll believe what you say, so follow me as I bring you to my world." He says as he turns back to look at me as he pulls out an enlarged American flag from underneath his shirt before tossing it up in the air.
He extended his arm to me, which I grabbed in return before the flag fell on top of us before the flag fell flat, as if the two men were never underneath it, as they both traveled to the world of Steel Ball Run.
