Capítulo 9: You're going to regret this!
"Accept all the consequences…" - Surprised, she muttered.
Suddenly, she walked right up to him and with an incredible speed that he couldn't keep track of, she pressed her lush pink lips against Chen Ge's lips.
"What the hell are you doing!?" - In shock, Chen Ge bounced back as soon as their lips parted.
"You reacted as usual…" - She murmured grimly. - "When we were little you always protected me and even said that when we grow up, I will marry you... But you lied! Today you're not marrying me, you're marrying another woman!"
"Shit... You realize we were children and I didn't mean it!" - Chen Ge said in a serious tone.
Even though Chen Yanran's appearance was phenomenal, he wasn't going to answer her feelings. Having one woman was already too troublesome for him and he wouldn't be able to devote much time to them, especially now that he had decided to devote most of his time to cultivation.
But, only Chen Ge understood this, Chen Yanran did not care about it at all.
"Why!?" - Incomprehensibly she asked.
"Because I am your brother!" - Chen Ge sighed tiredly. This whole situation was embarrassing for him.
"Then... what should I do if I want to kiss you?" - Chen Yanran smiled and licked her lips.
"Damn it, are you stupid? Then know this! If you dare try to do something to me again I'll tell my father and let him sort it out, I'm tired of this shit." - Chen Ge spoke with visible irritation.
The whole thing with Chen Yanran was like a headache that he wanted to get rid of as soon as possible. He had already decided that after the wedding, he had to have a serious talk with Chen Xiao about it.
Suddenly, an old man's voice sounded from behind the door:
"Young master, it's time to go get the bride."
"Yes, I'm on my way." - After fixing the wedding clothes on his body, he was about to leave. But, not even two steps away as Chen Yanran grabbed his hand and said with a serious look:
"Chen Ge! Will you never reciprocate my feelings?"
Chen Ge put his hand on the door, but did not open it yet.
"Chen Yanran, you are my sister and you are just confused. I love you as a sister and always will, and your feelings are just foolishness, an attachment to me, a delusion from which you must find a way out!"
Having said that, he opened the door and walked out.
Chen Yanran froze in place as if struck by thunder. His words were like knives straight to the heart and only after a few quiet seconds, her face turned ashen as her eyes filled with tears, anger and jealousy.
There will come a day when you will regret it!"
Chen Ge did not choose his words at all and did not even think that he had accidentally made a dangerous enemy, who was preparing a sinister trap for him in the near future.

When Chen Ge came out of the room, there was an old man sent by his father already waiting for him.
"Young master, please mount your horse. On the way, I will protect you as best I can... Today is the young master's big day and many enemies might attempt to kill you on the way to the Liang Clan, but with me, they won't stand a chance." - The old man smiled coldly.
"Thank you, Chen Wang." - Said Chen Ge and jumped up on his horse.
Suddenly, a calm voice sounded:
"I think I'm on time. Little brother Chen is going to go get his bride, congratulations!"
Chen Ge frowned when he heard this voice. He saw two women slowly approaching him. The one who spoke was a young woman in her twenties. She was very beautiful, almost as beautiful as Chen Yanran. On her fresh face, her eyes shone like rubies alongside a dazzling smile. Following her was another young girl, about nineteen and unremarkable in appearance.
'Damn, why is it women again…' - Looking at them, Chen Ge silently cursed.
"Oh, it's Chen Zhou's older sister and Chen Yan's older sister. Did you come especially to check on me?"
Chen Zhou was the daughter of one of the clan's elders. Even apart from her looks, in her twenties, due to her talent and intelligence, she was one of the most outstanding of the younger generation of the Chen Clan. At this point, her cultivation level was already at the ninth stage of Illusory Ascension(2). She was the joy and pride of the elder.
The Chen Clan had high hopes for her and there were even rumors that perhaps she could become the next head of the clan in the future. She had many positive qualities, but she was not arrogant, treating all clan members equally. Even towards Chen Ge, whom everyone considered trash. She never mocked him, on the contrary, she was always kind and polite to him. Moreover, when Chen Ge stopped cultivating and took up stalking Liang Si Yao she was upset and even tried to talk him out of it.
Chen Ge's past always liked her. Considering that she was a good person and a great big sister, he appreciated the relationship between them, considering that she was his friend.
With Chen Yan, however, things were very different.
She was not an ordinary member of the Chen clan, just like Chen Zhou she was the daughter of one of the clan elders. She was nineteen years old and was in the first stage of Illusory Ascension(2). Since childhood, she followed Chen Zhou everywhere and listened to her every word like a servant. Nevertheless, she did not treat Chen Ge the same way as Chen Zhou.
Even though he was the son of the head, being the young master of the clan, she always treated him coldly, periodically mocking his relationship with Liang Si Yao. Whenever he tried to talk to her, she would answer coldly and arrogantly or not answer at all.
