Capítulo 23: Chapter 21: The Date and The Trouble (Part-3)
Zen's eyes opened slowly. The bright light hurt, he could barely see.
"Where am I?" he wondered, trying to remember what happened. A familiar voice broke his thoughts.
"Brother!" Anna shouted, relieved.
Zen recognized her voice. "Ann! I made it!" he said. "Thank God!"
Anna just hugged him gently, crying.
Zen saw her tears. "Sorry I worried you, sis. I'm okay now. Don't cry."
Anna looked at his face and said,
"Why would you even do that? Sniff, Do you know how scared I was? I almost called Mom!" She said withholding tears.
Zen replied "Good thing you didn't. Mom would be really mad if she knew what I did."
They talked more until Anna had to go, it was late. Zen was hurt bad. His left arm barely made it, he lost a lot of blood. The healing was fast, but they told him to rest his arm for a few days.
"Brother, your teacher wants to see you before you go," Anna said. "Your wounds are wrapped but your arm won't move for 2 days." Anna left after saying this. But she totally missed the shadow that just left before her.
"Got it," Zen said. He finished up and went to see his angry master, dreading the trouble ahead.
KNOCK KNOCK. Zen barged right into his master's office without waiting for a reply. Inside he saw a sight that he could never forget. In front of his eyes were - Shreya's big bare boobs bouncing everywhere.
No one moved, too shocked to react. Zen couldn't take his eyes off the mesmerizing scene.
'Yes they should be declared as -- a national treasure'
Finally, Shreya realized what was happening.
"ZEN! GET THE FUCK OUT AND WAIT OUTSIDE!" she shouted, scrambling to cover up.
"W-What? – Yes I am sorry!"
Zen stammered apologies and whipped around to escape, bonking his head on the still-open door with a THUNK before stumbling out.
He stood stunned in the hall, unable to erase the mind-blowing image now seared into his brain. Maybe almost losing an arm was worth this view! He was grinning stupidly alone on the hallway but no, he is not gone crazy.

While, Zen was immersed in his stupid thoughts, Anna encountered someone she didn't expect in front of her room.
"What are you doing here senior?" Anna looked warily at the magenta hair beauty in front of her.
Yes. It was Evelyn. Evelyn was done with the checkups in the beginning and was just afraid to come in front of Zen's family.
Seeing Anna, she immediately bowed to her fullest and said,
"Anna, I'm really sorry. It was all my fault. If not for me, Zen would have been perfectly fine. If only I hadn't been there with him," Evelyn exclaimed, placing the blame squarely on herself and she believed that if not for her, Zen would not be in danger. So, she convinced herself to come and see Anna directly.
When she didn't get any response, Evelyn continued,
"I will never come near Zen again. I'll make sure he faces no difficulty because of me and what happened today. Please, just ask him to forgive me. Please..."
Anna was stunned. She never thought that a noble will ever bow down and apologize.
Her voice, devoid of emotion, cut through the tension. "You know, I am really, really angry with you. My brother went out with you for one day, and this happened. What will happen in the future if he continues to be near you?"
'Yes, I know I am responsible. I should have just declined when Zen asked.' This was all what Evelyn thought. Expecting more harsh words from Anna, Evelyn was taken aback by Anna's next words,
"But apologizing to me and then saying that you will never go near my brother is an insult to everything he did. If he put his life on the line to save yours, that means he considers you something akin to his family, and saying what you said in response is nothing short of mocking his actions."
Anna said this and entered her room while leaving off with one last line,
"Finally, my brother never gets angry at his family."
Evelyn was left there standing with her thoughts. After sorting her thoughts out, she decided to see Zen and left for Shreya's office.

While Evelyn was sorting out her emotions, Zen was called in by Shreya.
"How are you feeling now stupid disciple?" Shreya acted like nothing happened a few minutes ago. But if Zen let go of this chance then he won't be called Zen.
"Master, your disciple was so badly injured but you cured me right away using an effective medicine!" He replied while looking at Shreya's chest.
Hearing Zen, Shreya's face immediately turned red. She tried her best to remain calm. Yes she is the one of the most powerful personality on the world's biggest academy. She can do this!
But at last, she couldn't and put her face down. Maybe she was not that powerful after all.
After collecting her thoughts, she calmed down and looked up again. When she saw Zen's sly smile, she felt very annoyed for some reason.
'Don't use your power. He is your disciple, and he is injured. Don't do that.' She said to herself.
"Ahem, don't sprout nonsense and tell me what happened in detail. That Walker girl couldn't even form a single sentence without breaking down." Zen really didn't know that he almost died again because of his damned smile!
"Yes master" He stopped joking and reiterated everything.
While hearing what Zen did, she felt proud that her student didn't back down from a group, but at the same time, she was worried that Zen has painted a large mark on his back.
Zen continued and told her about the stranger.
"That explosion was weird. Although I avoided it, it should have caused more damage." He said and continued.
After he ended, he felt very like the temperature started increasing. He looked at Shreya and her face was nothing less than a demon.
"Who dared to hire someone to kill a student of the academy, that too my student." She knew how serious academy was in enforcing the rules. Furthermore, it was Zen who was injured and she won't let the UHF decide what will happen. This was personal now.
"Calm down master or you will kill me before giving me justice."
Shreya calmed down and asked,
"Don't worry Zen, I will give you a satisfactory answer in a few days." She took a pause and then said,
"Zen I thought you were just joking before, but now seeing you and Evelyn, I think you are serious so I will say this. If you continue to get involved with Evelyn, you will face trials far dangerous than what you faced today. That girl's life is… complicated to say the least. Not to mention the nobles that will chase you because of her matters."
"I heard that from her master. But I will not cower in fear and let the others do whatever they want. If it is the trouble they want, I will serve it to them hot n' fresh."
Shreya smiled at Zen's declaration, "Of course that's how it should be. Don't worry disciple, just do what you want. I will see who comes to look for trouble with you. Now go and rest!"
"Thank you master."
He was really grateful to her words. Although he knew that she wouldn't be able to get involved a lot because of her position, he was still grateful. He went out and was just heading to his dorm's direction, he saw Evelyn,
"Zen, how are you feeling?" Evelyn asked with a smile. She decided to not apologize to Zen as she understood what Anna was trying to say.
"I'm fine, Evelyn. Are you okay?" Zen approached her, gently taking hold of her hands.
Evelyn responded with a smile, nodding in affirmation. No one spoke anything. There was no need to. They just strolled in silence.
Reaching Evelyn's dorm first, they exchanged their goodbyes. As Evelyn began to leave, Zen couldn't help but muster the courage to ask, "By the way, Evelyn, when are we going on our second date?" He was afraid that Evelyn will take stupid steps and distance herself.
A broad smile appeared on Evelyn's face as she replied, "Anytime you want, I will be ready."

With this chapter, the whole date saga came to an end. I took my sweet time to write as I tried my best to make the date and conversations as vivid as possible.
