On the way to Alabama, Birmingham.
In a C5, first forward aircraft.
"Listen very well, the moment you have all been waiting for has arrived. Today we finally take one step closer to regaining what the dead have taken from us. Birmingham is our objective, you will have to drop on top of the buildings and eliminate the walkers inside."
"There will be no problems with the walkers in the city, they will all be driven by the helicopters out of the city and the main avenues will be sealed off to prevent any more walkers from entering the city."
"Death is unacceptable, everyone knows where our base of operations will be so I expect success in less than eight hours."
"Yes, sir!"
...
As the C5s headed towards Birmingham, there were three helicopters that had already arrived. The first had headed toward the mall where Abraham and the team had been left clearing the future base of operations.
"Alright, the first group is getting closer so we need to send a signal so they can see us." Abraham said as he looked skyward.
"What decision did the commander finally make?" Asked a soldier who had approached from a distance.
"We'll take Birmingham before we head back to home base, this shit is going to get out of control." Abraham grabbed his rifle and pointed it at the walkers in the distance, "Take out the nearby walkers, we need to clear the place so people can land safely!"
Just as the soldiers reported that they were in position, an abrupt voice appeared on the intercom, which also surprised Abraham.
As soon as this information appeared, the intercom went silent for a moment, and then a very dignified voice said, "Report the specific situation!"
"Southwest of Birmingham is Commander Airon, you are to take the active base at that location with the least number of casualties."
"Roger that, one team is heading towards the base and another is right now attracting the attention of the walkers!"
After receiving the order to move to the foot of the Commander, the soldiers on the ground began to open a perimeter to eliminate the walkers.
They all acted on the instructions of the team captains, occupied commanding heights and favorable terrain, and launched an attack on the walkers.
The soldiers had been
The soldiers who had been vigilant for a long time also realized that something was wrong the moment the shots rang out, and immediately found that at the end of the street there were walkers and their speed was not at all normal.
"Fire!"
Bang Bang Bang Bang Bang Bang!
The entire area around the mall erupted in loud sounds of gunfire intertwined with all kinds of shots, and the small squad of soldiers immediately opened fire, engaging the walkers.
At the same time, all the soldiers approaching in helicopters also received a warning about the sudden confrontation, all with weapons in their hands began to wait for the moment to support the team on the ground.
Bang! Bang!
To the southeast of the mall, several figures in the air were seen getting closer and closer. Before long everyone could see the fierce confrontation Abraham's people were having on the ground, and seeing that they were in trouble some helicopters diverted to attract the attention of the walkers in the other parts of the city and in turn mop up the walkers near the mall.
This is the first battlefield surrounded by walkers and the first exchange of fierce fire.
Bang Bang Bang!
You could tell there weren't many walkers, but they were all widely scattered and marksmanship was a problem considering the tension. But the Humvee's machine gun completely shredded the bodies of the walkers, while the helicopters deployed ropes for support to arrive.
By this time, the helicopters had reached Birmingham. Initially, regardless of whether there was a dangerous group called Fireflies or other communities, Airon wanted to take this place by force and when he discovered that there were vaccinations that he possibly should be very similar to that of his base he wasted no more time.
"Damn it, once we eliminate these walkers we should leave the job to the helicopters!" Shouted Abraham as he saw the numerous soldiers getting off the helicopters.
For now, these helicopters will be in charge of luring all the walkers and getting them out of the city slowly and then using them for other types of plans.
...
On top of a building, Airon held a pair of binoculars and watched as the helicopters moved at low speed to attract the attention of the walkers.
This was the first phase of the plan, to get all the walkers out of the city. And once the walkers were cleared from the streets, the team in the air would fight the battle in the buildings. But in turn, helicopters with special containers will seal off all the roads that connect directly to Birmingham so that no walkers can enter the city again.
After a moment of silence, Airon said, "George, you must supervise total control of Gale's base, we don't need to kill anyone but if they resist there is no reason to avoid deaths."
"Okay..." Hearing this, George just shook his head indifferently and said with a cold face, "We've been the good guys for a long time, but to achieve our goals it's necessary to be the bad guy in other people's stories."
"It doesn't matter if anyone manages to escape, we will take this place over completely and no one will rest until the city is free of walkers and sealed. I'm sure Gale's people and that guy named Snow won't be a problem, I'll take care of that sir."
"The last two times we left communities alone they were destroyed by someone else, I guess they won't blame us for saving their lives." Daryl said in a hoarse voice, he didn't mind doing something for the good and future of his people. Right now even his older brother is in Ohio, so he too had committed himself to the future.
Looking at Daryl's appearance, Airon nodded calmly and believed he was doing his best for everyone's future. Clearly he couldn't be perfect, but this is not only for his benefit, but also to get back what he had originally set out to do.
"Now what I most want to know is if there are any more survivors in this place. Although the report has given an initial assessment, the search range is too large. There are so many buildings. It's impossible to check them one by one within the first 24 hours."
"Possibly, but it is certain that if there are survivors they will find us."
"Tch, with so many helicopters and men we can take this place in no time, no need to be so tense." Negan said as he ate an energy bar.
The T-dog still smiled and said, "As long as we take this place, there will be many more survivors around. In the end it doesn't matter if there is another organization in this place, we will meet from someone or other."
Saying that, T-dog watched the helicopters as they moved in the surroundings slowly and in turn there was one heading in a particular direction.
Watching Airon's back, they all fell silent. They blindly respected Airon's decisions, they had all learned that he did not act on his own decisions and always listened to the decisions of others.
From the beginning, the benefits were mostly for the people coming to their base and for the future of all the children. Everyone, no matter what decision Airon made, knew it was in everyone's best interest.
