Maki pov
It was the end of the day out with my friends and I was walking home with my Best friends; Asami and her twin sister Asuga.
When I finally got half way to my house I turned around to look at them Asuga whispered something in Asami's ear I managed to hear what she said,"Maki's so gullible to think we're actually friends with her who would want to be friends with her?" She giggles "I know right" she whispered back also giggling "ahem" I growled they looked at me shocked "Maki! Hey how you doin'?" Said Asuga "You both lost the right to use my first name! From this day on YOU DO NOT KNOW ANYONE WITH THE NAME MAKI HARUKAWA!" I yelled and hissed the last part "But-!" One of them started but I already turned around to go home "MAKI-ROLL! MAKI-ROLL WAIT!" It was Asami turned I turned around mad "what do you want" I hissed "I'm sorry! Pls forgive me!" She said she didn't sound sincere though it sounded more like I need you to be my friend and give me tea so I can tell someone my eyes went narrow "I mean what I said from this day on we are no longer friends I am nothing but a mere stranger to you" I spat and continued to walk away "THIS IS WHY YOU NEVER GOT A BOYFRIEND!" Yelled Asuga "HA! JOKES ON YOU I'M LESBIAN!" I yelled back they're homophobic but they can't do anything tomorrow cuz I'm moving
I got home my cousin's dad's car was in the driveway he and his Dad was going to help me and my family to move he goes to a different school than I do and I haven't seen him since the 5th grade
I walked in "HARU-MAKI IS HERE!" Said My purple haired cousin "Kokichi just call me Maki" I said "ah hello My darling Maki" said My Dad to be honest I don't trust my dad and as he walked up to me I was glaring at him and as soon as he tried to hug me I tried to dog it but failed and he managed to still give me a hug I started growling "MAKI HARUKAWA! GIVE YOUR FATHER A HUG THIS INSINSTANT!" yelled my mother a turned and gave him a hug
5 minutes later I tried pulling away he wouldn't let me go "MAKI!" Yelled my mother "what?!" I yelled back "GIVE YOUR FATHER A HUG!" She repeated "I DID" I growled "HE WILL PULL WAY TO END THE HUG NOT YOU" she growled harsher and yelled a bit louder I rolled my eyes I noticed Kokichi was glaring at my... Ass? "kichi? " I whispered he looked back a me like cute sweet innocent confused puppy "what's wrong?" I whispered he signed 'I will tell you when we get to your room' I nodded and I felt a hand touch my ass and it made me uncomfortable my husky started barking at me I think?
Husky's pov (for now)
Mommas father is touching her bootay I must protect momma!! So I barked to get him away from her and he did but started walking towards me so I ran to mothers room
Back to Maki's pov
"Maverick!" I yelled and ran after him I saw him in front of my room I giggled seeing him laying upside in front of my door "Hai" I said and started rubbing his belly after a while I picked him up he drapped over my shoulder and I opened my door I put him down and started packing mine and Mavericks things after closing the door and at some point my cousin comes in and helped me pack
While we were pack he looks at me "Look Maki our old picture book" he said we went to the same middle school we flipped through the book after we flipped through the book it got out in the box of my book "Maks wanna know why your dog was barking and I was glaring at..." He started trailing off "my ass?" I questioned "yea.." He said looking to the side "I would very much so" I stated then maverick walks to kokichi and lays in his lap kokichi petted him to calm down or to relax a little "your dad... He had his hand there.." He said I just stared blankly
After packing up we went to our new house "glad they're accepting new students right now..." I said to kokichi "well it's the end of summer and tomorrow is the first day of school" said Kokichi we got accepted in hopes peak and Kichi's Dad is finding a house to live in so he may not be at school tomorrow "KOKICHI WE'RE LEAVING! SO JUST YOUR ASS DOWN HERE NOW!" Yelled Uncle, Kokichi hugged me "good bye Maki-roll" said Kokichi I hugged him back "Sayonara Kichi" I said "NOW!" Uncle yelled louder ever since kokichi was born he never saw his mom and his dad is too violent to him "Maki-" he was going to say something but his dad yelled again "DON'T MAKE ME COME UP THERE!" he yelled which triggered Maverick to bark "Bye Maki bye Maverick" he said and walked out and downstairs to his dad I wanted a glass of water followed Kokichi but I stayed behind the wall hidden "I told you to come down here and you come down here" growled uncle he violently grabbed Kokichi's arm and dragged him out of the house I walked to the kitchen and got some water
(At this point they are in the new house btw)
The first day of school came and i was getting ready for school my mom walked in my room to be fair I said she can come in as long as she knocked and she knocked she was greeted by Maverick jumping trying to stand on his hind legs mother pet his head and he strunts to his bed and she walks to me "Hunny, are you ready for school?" She said my mother was the ultimate cosmetologist and she wants me to be either the ultimate hairstylist or make artist either way it has something to do with cosmetology and I ended up being the ultimate cosmetologist like my mother "make sure you do you make-up and hair" she says playing with my hair "I know I know" I say attempting to brush it
I got ready and I started to walk to school turns out I was 5 minutes early to class when class started we introduced our selves stuff like like that it was like that the entire day well I would say but it's almost the end of the day and I already got people staring at me I haven't seen my cousin yet he probably unpacking or whatever I get to my last period classroom and sit in a desk and I got "Hey! Your sitting in my seat!" The person grawled "I'm sorry but there isn't any assigned seats and I don't see your name on it" stated I looked up to look at the person and take in their details great it's a boy he had medium black hair and out over to the side as if he was trying to be edgy and has weird black eye makeup the boy blinks ah yes his eyes are a hideous green him overall is a -0 out of 10 wait I mean -10/10 this man needs a makeover but I'm not going to give him one if he's just going to be rude
He took one good look at my face and the started what looked like he was checking me out "look girl you're cute so why not you stay there but you go to the summer dance with me next week" said the emo lookin boy "absolutely not" I said putting my hand in his face "w-why not!? Nobody turns me down-!" He started yelling I snorted "what's so funny!?" He said "they probably didn't because they felt bad for you and I like girls even if I didn't you were rude like i would go out or to a dance even with someone who was rude" I said
And that was the last I heard from him I started walking home and I saw my uncle's car in the house next door to mine I shrugged it off and went inside my house and went to my room greeted by Maverick jumping and trying to out his front paws on my thighs to stay up and barking he looked happy to see me
