Capítulo 4: Chapter 4- Meeting new people
The scenery around you is extremely unrealistic. "Whoa! That pond is so huge and spacious.. Like a sauna but with flowers and fish.." you say relating everything you see with your world.
"Excuse me?" someone calls you from behind. You turn around and see a tall and hot guy. "Um.. Yeah." you say almost blushing. "Are you Li Xue?" he asks. "N- Wait, yeah. I am.." you say getting confused with your real name. "What is wrong with me? Is this happening because I miss my world or something?" you think. "Okay.. That's great.. I finally get to meet you.." he says smiling.
"Y/N!" one of your servants shouts while running. As she reached near you and the guy, she says, "Oh! Um.. Greetings, Your highness.."
"Rise, please." he says in a kind manner. "Highness?" you ask puzzled.
"Yes, I don't think I told you but I am Feng Ning, the next heir to the throne of Feng Kingdom." he introduces himself. "Ok.. And I am guessing you are here to celebrate my birthday?" you say.
"Yes.. The rumors about you are indeed true.. You have a brilliant mind and have great beauty.." he says touching your hair.
You flinch with a slight blush on your face and step back instantly. Looking around, you see a well-dressed lady with an awful lot of servants walking behind her. "That is my step-mother..." you mumble softly. "Did you say anything?" he asks looking at you. "Uh.. No.." you deny.
With the lady, there was another young girl with bossy and angry face. "And that is Li Mei.." you again mumble. Suddenly, their eyes fix on you and they start walking fast. "What the hell? Why are they walking like that?" you ask laughing at the weird manner they were walking with their long robes.
Feng Ning also laughs a little. They stand in front of you and don't notice Feng Ning beside you. "Mother!! She is the one who pushed me in the water!" Li Mei shouts. Then only your eyes noticed that she was drenched with water.
"Um.. No, I did not." you say. "Do not lie dear sister." Li Mei says. "I am not lying.. I don't even know where you got pushed from.." you say.
"Stop lying!" your step mother shouts. You glare in her eyes with a straight face and then say in a low voice, "Boo."
Your step mother flinches and steps back. "Like mother, like daughter. Huh?" she says smirking.
"And what do you mean by that?" you ask a little offended.
"That wench had no respect for me even though she was mere servant working in the palace. She was just favored by His Majesty and that made her think that she was superior to me and other concubines. I still remember how she glared at me when I walked past her. That scary image is still stuck in my mind. It was like she wasn't human at all.." she says trembling a little.
"I guess that is where I got this pretty face and glare from." you say smiling. "And also.. Who would respect YOU?" you continue stepping close to her.
She moves back and shouts, "Y-YOU! Just what do you mean by that??"
"I meant to say that you don't deserve respect.. After what you did to my mother, don't expect me to listen or respect you.." you say in a low voice.
"I did nothing to your mother.." she says in a low voice as well. "Don't lie old hag.." you say. "HOW DARE YOU SAY THAT TO HER HIGHNESS?!" barks a dog from behind and raises her hand to slap you.
But just then Feng Ning grabs her hand and shouts, "How dare a servant raise hand at a princess! Guards, take this insolent fool and chop off her hands as a warning to never repeat that again."
"Yes, Your Highness." the guards step forward and drag the lady servant away. "Please Your Highness! Have mercy! I will apologize and never repeat it again!!" she shouts.
The step-mother doesn't do anything and looks at Feng Ning with a tint of gratitude in her eyes. "Thank you for getting rid of that ill-mannered servant.. I shall take my leave and you all can chat." she says smiling. You all bid her farewell and get on with chatting.
"Um.. Honey.. What brings you here?" Li Mei asks embarrassed. "Honey?" you ask confused and disgusted.
Feng Ning doesn't answer and continues his conversation with Li Mei. "Honey.. Look at her.. She pushed me in the Crystal Pond. And instead of apologizing, she is smiling" your sister says crying fake tears.
"Yuck.." you say disgusted. "I was just walking around peacefully when she suddenly came behind me and pushed me in the Crystal Pond.." she says again. "Again.. I did not push, Lila 2.0.." you say.
"Who is this.. Lila 2.0?" Feng Ning asks. "A professional lier..Probably my dear sister's long lost sister.." you say laughing. "I am not lying! Stop laughing and apologize to me!" she shouts crying more. "Eesh.. Where do you get those many tears from?" you ask.
She just cries more and Feng Ning just sighs. Just then you remember, that you were indeed at the Crystal pond just a few minutes before you encountered them.
"Princess didn't push you.. She was chatting with me.." Feng Ning tries to defend you. "Wait.. I know we were at the Crystal Pond.. I remember before you came behind me, I was looking around when I saw a girl fall from a small bridge.. Li Mei.. Was that you? you ask her.
"N-No.. Wha-What are you talking about?" she stammers. "I know bitches like you, start stammering when they lie.." you say.
"I can't believe you accused your sister for fun.. I will ask His Majesty to break our engagement.." Feng Ning says. "What? No! You can't do that!" she shouts.
"I can do anything I want. Besides, I don't want a liar as my wife in the future..." he says sternly.
She rushes away in anger with the servants behind her.
"At least there is something to keep me entertained here.." you say stretching.
"Umm, Li Xue?" someone calls you from behind. You turn around and find...
