Selena's POV

"Pam? You are his secretary?" I asked, and I could tell she was no longer shocked when she saw me.

"Hi, Selena, yes I am the boss's secretary. It has been a long time since we have last seen each other," she responded, and I could see the hurt on her face. I wanted to run since I also unfriended her on my social media, and I blocked her and Paige's numbers, including our friends on the coconut plantation.

I couldn't blame Pam if she hated me and would not help me with her boss to give me this job.

"I am sorry," I mumbled since don't know what to say to her. I felt so ashamed of myself.

"What are you sorry for?" She asked, and I couldn't look into her eyes, and I was speechless.

"Follow me, Ms. Castroni," she added as she walked ahead, and I hated myself for being selfish. They didn't do anything to me, and I don't have the right to shut them off, but I was in too much pain that I only thought about myself.
