On a pleasant Sunday afternoon, Tariro and Nomalanga sat facing each other across the kitchen table enjoying a cup of tea and cake after returning home from church.
"What's next now that you're more a free woman?" a concerned looking Nomalanga asks Tariro.
"I 'll have to take things one day at a time, maybe begin by to going to see Tinashe", replied Tariro.
"Hell no!", protested Nomalanga, he betrayed you!"
"He saved me when I needed someone to help me", said Tariro.
"That's after he had got you arrested in the first place", returned Nomalanga.
"So why would he come to save at the last minute", asked Tariro.
"Why indeed?", Nomalanga repeated the question rhetorically. "Look he fled in the middle of the night, like some, some beast what manner of man does that", charged Nomalanga angrily.
"But he came back, can you not see the nobility in that?, asked Tariro.
