In Lan City, the night was still young. Sirius was sitting in his lofty, third-floor Luya Group office.

He seemed really worn out, as if he had suddenly aged a good many years. His eyes were vacant as he repeatedly switched on and off his phone.

The phone displayed a message from Su Su.

[Lu Wen has taken me captive on the Bluebell Cruise. Can you come and save me?]

Even Lu Zhao, who was seated off to the side, looked grave.

Wen Du assessed them from where he stood by the door.

"I must go this time. No matter what you say, I must go," Sirius stated.

Lu Zhao groaned heavily as he studied Sirius. "I am to blame for this. I'll go with you."

Wen Du frowned to himself. "Young Master Lu, you mustn't. Do I need to remind you that your body is full of the poison? Lu Wen must have set up this trap. You can't hand yourself over to him on a platter."
