Aiden's sickness worsened, and his leave from the university was prolonged for another week. Meanwhile, the Christmas holiday already started and the Dominion Central University ceased most of its activities during the holiday period.

The Clement twins decided to pay Aiden a visit one sunny day. They brought with them a truckload full of delicacies from their own ranch. While the rabid vampires rejoiced over the food, Liam's face fell in disappointment. There was nothing for him and Cole to eat.

To comfort the little boy and his puppy, Dania and Victor took them downtown to hunt for some Christmas cookies and candies.

Aiden was thus left to entertain his guests on his own. To his greatest dismay, there was not much he could offer them. The coven was still working toward raising a ranch full of Russet Rock bulls and cows. The aging process could not be accelerated.
