"I am not your Papa," Ryan said in a flat tone.

As if trying to prove his point, he grinned and two pointy fangs appeared. Liam shrieked in fear and curled up into a ball.

Chuckling, Ryan hugged the little ball to his chest.

He lifted his head and let his gaze drift to the surrounding area. A while ago, a huge bear was chasing after Liam. As soon as it caught sight of Ryan, it swiveled around and ran in the opposite direction.

It was always a pleasant experience to encounter intuitive wild animals.

"Is your name Liam?" he asked the little ball in his arm.

"..."

Liam was terrified.

How did the scary man find out about his name? Was he able to read minds? Aaaaaahhhhh!!!

"Aiden sent me," Ryan said. "He is worried about you."

Liam's head snapped up in an instant.

"Master Aiden???" he cried. "Is Master Aiden alright???"

Ryan smirked. "Do you want to see him?"

Liam nodded fervently at first, but then he gave Ryan a wary look.
