Capítulo 167: His calmness

The girl did not remove her hand and tilted her head a little looking at him. "Maybe…but… maybe not." Her soft giggle was like a music to his ears.

"Why maybe not?" He held her hand a bit more tightly, standing close to her…facing the pond.

"Because, I believe it is very essential to fall in love with the person you live with. I do not love you…." The girl spoke in a sad tone, thinking about Horus. She had always admired the king from the day she had met him first. "Besides… I am not pure. I have made love to somebody before. I do not think, I am fit to marry you or anybody." The girl wanted to be utmost honest with him, so that he can think about his feelings again.

"And… you think, this will effect my feelings for you. Hah!" Jonas let out a soft chuckle looking at her face. "You, my dear have really underestimated my love for you."

Tulip frowned a little looking at him as she turned her body. "What do you mean?"
