Lyle and the captain entered the inn before sitting down in the lobby, which was pretty much a restaurant that the patrons of the inn, as well as everyone that had enough money, could enter.

It was now morning as Lyle had been missing for 8 hours. His evolution took some time and the captain, alongside the other officers, had believed that he was gone, killed by the assassin.

"Did you manage to find anything?" The captain asked Lyle who sighed before shaking his head.

"The assassin left the city and I followed after, we entered the Forest of Silence and fought multiple times, but unfortunately, I wasn't strong enough," Lyle said with an angry expression on his face before slamming his hand on the table and causing it to crack.

"You're lucky you're alive, the enemy was a professional." The captain said as he leaned back in his chair.

"A pro, what do you mean?"
