Arren was right; aside from Spade almost losing himself to rage, the Duke also fell into the same situation. As a father, hearing his precious son be abducted by the same organization he loathed was enough for him to collapse right there and then. 

What was more unforgivable for him was that he happened to arrive outside of the palace. The sounds of gunshots were what made him stop at the front gate, and when he heard what was happening, the Duke wanted to run inside but was stopped. 

Duke Evan then lost his noble grace as he cursed in rage at all his personal and royal guards who were stopping him from checking for his son. After all, he was still an alpha; even with his age, he was still strong enough to resist them. 

There was a lot surrounding him, to the point that his reason left him; he could only think of his precious son inside the palace. However, when he heard of Arren's disappearance, all his strength vanished, and he collapsed from shock.
