Liu Yang continued to roam around the world, having no intention of returning to his sect. For years, he carried those ashes with him, trying to find ways to resurrect the dead misty man, or at least try to find the man's identity. He had an intuition that the misty man's identity was necessary.

But the man had literally turned into a mist, not leaving any trace of his identity behind him. His entire being vanished into thin air, and the pocket full of ashes was the only proof of his existence.

This day, he had just stopped in a restaurant to take a rest and listen to the recent gossip.

"The shadows are too much," said a man sitting on the table adjacent to him, sipping a drink. "They killed another round of people now; this time, they chose commoners."

"I have heard they started digging graves again."

The other person clicked his tongue and took another sip. "I had thought their new leader would turn the shadows into a new leaf, but on the contrary, he turned evil."
