Capítulo 396: The gods

The pope hummed before he answered. "It is a story that happened in the past. A tragedy that almost brought down Lunaira into its knees. Luckily, they managed to get back up and lasted for a thousand years."

The priest was surprised at the pope's answer. This only means that the pope believed the story from the very beginning. Another question arose about that information. "Do you perhaps know what happened one thousand years ago, your eminence?"

The pope shook his head, "You can say that I know it but I was not there when it all happened. All I have are records from that time." He bent down and opened the lowest drawer of his study table. He then pulled out a thick stack of papers that had been yellowing because of how old it was.
