Capítulo 49: A Call Home Part 2

"What was that?!" Elle's mother yelled in surprise at Drakie's statement. "Is there someone there with you, daughter?!"

"Yes." Elle said. "That was the reason for my call. It had nothing to do with me coming home."

"How dare you expose us to others!" Her mother yelled. "We warned you that going into the human world would be fraught with dangers! Now you are exposing your family to that very same danger! Was that your goal?! To wipe our entire race out once and for all?!"

"It isn't anything like that!" Elle said. "Stop being so dramatic!"

Elle stepped out of the way and pulled Drakie by his foot so that he could be seen.

"Is that… a dragon?" Elle's mother asked. "But they are extinct…"

Elle then pushed Drakie out of the way and got back into the signal. "Well, they aren't." Elle explained. "This is Drakie, he is the last of the dragons."
