Capítulo 236: Something Effeminate

Esmeralda's eyes widened at his outburst, her chest began heaving in and out that she thought if care was not taken, she might collapse out of fear. His now dark green eyes were fixed on her as if he could read her inner thoughts.

She swallowed as she looked away from him, her eyes hovering about the washing basin.

"What are you doing?!" He growled making Esmeralda startle.

He is angry, she thought before uttering, "Your...Your Highness, I... I don't seem to find any soap for cleansing." Though she tried her possible best to be vocal, her words came out with stuttering. She could not raise her head to look at him.

For a man who only care about his waistcoat than a life which was lost then there was no way he wouldn't strangle her if she made a teeny bit of a mistake. She was terrified after seeing that dead man's body and knowing that he was still somewhere there, at the corner terrified her the more. What if someone finds them and then the prince claim that she murdered the man?
