Capítulo 44: The Guards

Meanwhile, Hazel kept leaping slowly throughout the corridor, fear stripped her naked as she wondered what the king would do to her if they saw her.

Now that she had heard it directly from the alpha, she knew that whatever she was into, especially with the king, was something not so ordinary.

"Where do I hide?" She asked herself, her heart beating louder than usual.

"If...if I had been drinking human blood, I sure wouldn't have been this weak," she blamed herself as she kept walking down the corridor.

After a few seconds, she heard footsteps behind, looking at the corridor, on her right were huge candlelights and an arc.

Hazel walked slowly, trying not to let them hear her footsteps. Slowly, she hid behind the arc.

"Where are the others?"

"They have gone to the other side of the palace."

"She must have gone that way!"

Hazel who was hiding behind the arc kept trying her best to hide her fear.
