She heard his voice, resonating in her head. Though all that she could see was the blurry corridor, she could still see his silver eyes turn into the darkest shade of red.

He seemed to be controlling his anger as he stared at her. Her heart was beating out loud.

Who could she tell?

Who would believe her?

The ordering guard came into their midst and tried to separate the alpha from the prisoner but he couldn't.

"This is the last time I will ask you, Hazel. Who sent you?"

Hazel could not utter No. She was already suffocating due to his closeness. Even though she wanted to talk, could she say that the alpha was pretending and he was definitely the one who had ordered an assassin to kill his blood brother?
