As soon as she stepped inside the manor, Yin Zhu felt her chest constrict even further. Her eyes moved away from the crowd of people who were looking at her as if they wanted to gouge everything about her through their eyes.
Instead, she focused her attention on the insides of the manor and noticed several things that Yin Zhu did not see when she came to the main manor in the past. The chandeliers were often left unlit as the glowing mana orbs were enough to light up the inside but tonight the six and seven chandeliers were lit up making the entire manor drown in a golden glow.
Flowers were wrapped around the pillars of the hall along with the archways that led to the corridors. Guards were roaming at the entrance of every corridor to make sure that no one would be able to walk past them and create any unnecessary disturbances that shouldn't happen tonight.
