The next morning, Li Xia woke up earlier than usual. She sat up on the bed, running her hands through her messy hair, before picking them up and securing them into a messy bun with the help of a claw clip. Placing her feet in her slippers, she walked into the bathroom to wash up. After freshening up, she walked into her room when her eyes fell on the wall clock which was displaying 6:25 AM. 

"Luo Yuan must be jogging outside," Li Xia spoke while standing in front of the mirror.

"He was quite sad yesterday," Li Xia continued as her thoughts drifted to last night.

It was the first time when she saw sadness in his eyes. He was a quite cheerful, bright person back then in high school. Her memory of him being quite carefree during the days of high school was very vivid.
