Capítulo 33: Chapter33: Going Out

Chase threw Morgan’s curtains open, flooding the room with sunlight. The wolf shifter lying in bed groaned and threw an arm over his face to shield his eyes from the offending light.

“Too bright,” he groaned, turning his head away and into his elbow.

Chase let out an amused snort that earned him a halfhearted glare from Morgan. “I didn't know you weren't a morning person.”

Morgan just grumbled unintelligibly in response, covering his face with his arm again. Chase made his way over to the bed where he’d set the first aid kit Simon had given him after the first time Morgan got injured.

As he grabbed some supplies Chase pulled the blankets back and down to Morgan’s hips, earning a displeased grumble as the man shifted slightly at the loss of warmth.

“I'm going to change your bandages now,” Chase said, reaching for Morgan’s side. Morgan hissed at his touch and Chase jerked his hands away, worried the wound was somehow infected. “Sorry, did I hurt y—”
