Capítulo 198: Obstacle

"We're here, Miss." The cab driver announced as he pulled the car to a stop a distance away from the palace. 

"Thank you." Salma paid him and climbed out. She set her gaze toward the magnificent building as the cab drove away.

Although she had lived all her previous life in Silver Lake, this was the first time she was seeing the palace. She still had to walk a distance to get to the main gate, as no cab was allowed to approach. 

Taking in a deep breath, she began the journey to the gate, while worrying about Celeste as what happened that morning came afresh in her mind. 

Celeste had insisted she would reject Veron because she wanted nothing to do with him. Even though Salma knew the exact words and way to reject one's mate, she denied having full knowledge because she didn't want the girl to make a rash decision due to her anger.
