Capítulo 142: Queen of mischief

Karina's eyes cracked open when she felt those sparks on her cheek after hearing her name being called by Veron. 

He was all dressed up and looked like he was going out. There was a small smile on his face as he looked down at her while seated in the same position he sat in last night.

"Good morning, beautiful." 

She returned his smile and wished he would never take his hand off her face. It felt so good.

"Good morning." She replied.

"I have a crucial meeting this morning, so I'm going to the office. I'll be back early. Don't stay in bed all day and make sure you eat, all right? Just tell Roy whatever you want and he will make it for you. Is that okay?"

When Karina nodded, he lowered his head and placed a kiss on her cheek, before he exited the room.

A few minutes later, she heard a knock on the door.

"Hey Rina, are you awake? Can I come in?" Zara's voice echoed.
