Capítulo 78: The Woman in his Arms

Sthena continued watching Perdita who was in his arms as she continued to drink blood from his neck.

It had been nearly an hour since he came to their house and she started to drink from him. Seems like the smell of the ritual affected her too much or could it be she had been blood-deprived for a long time?

He had to applaud the sibling's self-control for staying for more than a decade now and had not drunk a human's blood. 

Well, aside from the blood pills made from human blood they had unknowingly been taking, the siblings haven't drunk blood directly from a human, and this could be the reason why Perdita's thirst did not look like it will be quenched any time soon.

Vampires depended on blood, specifically human blood.  Both born and turned vampires needed human blood to keep them going and alive.
